First phase Mojo-Hawassa Expressway project commences tomorrow

Addis Ababa, December 9, 2015 (FBC) – The
construction of the first phase of the Mojo-Hawassa
Expressway project, which stretches from Mojo to
Meki, will be commenced tomorrow.
The 57 km Mojo-Meki road will consume 3.6 billion
birr, Samson Wondimu, Public Relations Director at
the Ethiopian Road Authority (ERA), said.
Similarly, the remaining 145 Km Meki-Zeway-Arsi
Negele-Hawassa road will also be commenced, he

Mojo-Hawassa Expressway project will be financed by a loan from African Development Bank, Exim Banks of
Korea and China as well as the World Bank.
